Education:
Professional cooking or culinary course and training from Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation or other reknowned institution.
03 years experience as mess cook/ staff cook. Qualification on Kitchen Management course will be given priority.
a. Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils needed for cooking are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized beforehand.
b. Verify that gas, electricity, water, and other utilities are fully operational, safe, and properly connected.
c. Prepare and cook food according to the Kitchen Order Tokens (KOTs) and menus, ensuring timely delivery as specified.
d. Forecast and request all necessary raw ingredients and inventory required to fulfill the food menu and active KOTs.
e. Prepare and submit daily reports on food grain requirements, inventory consumption, purchase costs, production costs, and profit margins to the Finance and Accounts Department.
f. Prepare Bangladeshi, Indian, Italian, Continental, Mexican, and other cuisines as requested.
g. Organize and store all food items, ingredients, and finished products in their designated, temperature-appropriate places.
h. Maintain strict food hygiene standards throughout the entire pre-cooking, cooking, and post-cooking processes.
i. Ensure the safety, security, and proper handling of all kitchen assets, equipment, and inventory.
j. Wear the prescribed uniform, including safety gear, and maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
k. Undergo mandatory monthly medical check-ups and promptly submit the medical clearance reports to the club authorities.
l. Perform duties strictly in accordance with the assigned duty roster.
m. Carry out any other relevant tasks or responsibilities assigned by management.
