∎ At least 5 years of relevant experience in developing modules, organizing, and delivering training programmes/ workshops, and evaluating training results is required.·
∎ Demonstrable ability to generate reports and formulate databases.·
∎ Earlier working experience/currently working in the Rohingya Crisis will be given preference.·
∎ Applicants who have earlier working experience currently working in legal aid will be given preference.·
∎ Experience in dealing with clients/beneficiaries.·
∎ Experience in managing case documents properly.·
∎ Flexibility to handle varied and demanding tasks and ability to balance priorities.·
∎ Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team, and to be flexible to accommodate the needs of stakeholders.·
∎ Ability to lead the assignment and the team with remote supervision.

∎ Good skills at speaking/reading/writing in Bangla and English.·
∎ Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Mail, Google Docs, etc.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assessing individual and project training needs.
∎ Develop ToR, concept note, and note sheet and organize and conduct workshops, training, and seminars with various stakeholders.
∎ Communicate with training-providing institutes and partner organizations to get their training resources, innovative training documents, best practice techniques, and systems.
∎ Develop materials and processes for specific areas/topics identified as needed for the capacity development of team members, including training, mentoring and coaching, peer learning, and other methodologies.
∎ Conduct and facilitate training sessions.
∎ Develop an internal resource pool to effectively conduct training, awareness sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
∎ Mentor the resource pool members to develop handouts, and lesson/session plans, facilitate the sessions, and prepare a report.
∎ Design, develop, review, and adaption of training modules, manuals, handbooks, and methodologies/strategies.
∎ Maintain to compile the participant's feedback and comments regarding course development and subject matters from the training evaluation template;
∎ Provide timely updates on training activities and incorporate lessons learned to enhance the delivery of training.
∎ Maintain an inventory base of training materials and manuals and ensure adequate updating of documentation and records.
∎ Maintain communication with the experts, specialists, and academicians to gain their expertise on the respective theme/subject matter before developing any modules, manuals, and handouts as well as organizing training.
∎ Collect proper documentation for each training (attendance lists, evaluation forms, training materials) and contribute to reporting to PLARC/UNHCR/BLAST according to timelines.
∎ Contribute to work plan, monitoring and evaluation, and other planning/reporting as needed.
∎ Ensure effective implementation of capacity development interventions with the best uses of resources.16. Any other relevant tasks that may emerge as important.
∎ Position Description: BLAST is looking for a Capacity Development Specialist for Ukhia, Cox's Bazar Project Office under the project of PLARC. The project aims to assess individual and project training needs to develop terms of reference (ToR), concept notes, and conduct workshops, training, and seminars while communicating with partner organizations to acquire innovative training resources and techniques. Design and conduct training sessions, develop and maintain training materials, and create a resource pool to facilitate capacity development, including mentoring and coaching for team members. Collect and document feedback and evaluations for training sessions, contribute to reporting and planning efforts, and ensure the effective implementation of capacity development initiatives using best practices and adequate resource management.
