Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Position Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients' needs and our technical solutions. You will be responsible for directly contributing to requirement analysis, gathering, and documentation processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development life cycle, information technology system analysis, and business analysis.
∎ Responsibilities:
∎ Requirement Elicitation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business/system requirements for projects or initiatives.
∎ Requirement Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of gathered requirements to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and conflicts, ensuring clarity and completeness.
∎ Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), System Requirement Specification (SRS), functional specifications, use cases, process flows, etc. to communicate requirements effectively to development teams.
∎ Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations and scope throughout the project lifecycle.
∎ Solution Design: Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
∎ Business Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements by analyzing current business processes and recommending enhancements.
∎ Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
∎ User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with stakeholders to define UAT criteria, develop UAT plans, and execute testing to validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
∎ Change Management: Facilitate change management activities by assessing the impact of proposed changes, developing change management plans, and supporting stakeholders through transition periods.
∎ Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems, processes, preparing user manuals and tools to ensure successful adoption and utilization.
∎ Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery or business operations, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate processes, methodologies, and tools to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance business analysis capabilities.
∎ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, project management, and operations to ensure alignment and integration of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
∎ Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track progress, performance metrics, and key indicators, providing visibility into project status and outcomes.
∎ Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards are met through rigorous review of deliverables, adherence to established processes, and proactive identification and resolution of issues.
∎ Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a reputed university.
∎ 1-3 years of experience in software development lifecycle, information technology system analysis, and business analysis.
∎ Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive requirement analysis and gap assessments.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
∎ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
∎ Continuous learner with a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
