Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development and implementation of the overall strategy within the framework.
∎ Drive bottom-line improvements through strategic sourcing that addresses supplier choices based on volume, specifications, service levels and systematic demand management whilst developing options for standardization.
∎ Conduct market analysis/intelligence and create the right supplier base to achieve the organization’s objectives for innovation, sustainability and risk management as well as creating winning ecosystems across the supply chain.
∎ Own the supplier relationship management process to obtain the right supplier behavior’s and manage risk by measuring and giving feedback about supplier performance as well as ensuring contract and service level compliance and the commercial perspective is considered in all supplier interactions.
∎ Work with suppliers to tap into their innovation potential creating value with better specifications, more suitable supplier choices, and ‘fit-for-purpose’ commercial terms whilst ensuring key business objectives such as delivering innovation from the supply base and managing risk are effectively met.
∎ Deploy sourcing/supply chain best-practices, build professional analytics capability across the function, and drive value from the external strategic sourcing process for selecting suppliers, agreeing on specifications, service levels and creating policies for managing demand and employing a governance approach that tracks procurement benefits to the budget/bottom-line.
