∎ Skills Required: Business/ Product Development, Buyer Handling
∎ Bangladesh University of Textiles,BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring daily performance of each account holder individually through cut to ship for Merchandiser & Sr. Merchandiser.
∎ Must be experienced as Asst. Merchandiser in any reputed company.
∎ Responsible for processing orders independently from development till shipment, follow up the planning/production/commercial team to ensure shipment moves on time.
∎ Cost calculation & price negotiation with buyer. Follow up with buyer for the feedback of the price, sample & capacity/space booking.
∎ Ensure quality execution of orders up to shipment the goods maintaining OTS .
∎ Prepare all kind of production samples such as pp sample, size set sample, shipment sample before dead line of buyer requirement and Maintain Fabric, Accessories booking and in-house on time.
∎ Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance.
∎ Advice factory/production/quality team on fabric, production, quality etc. related technical issues.
∎ Make T&A (Time & Action) plan & ensuring cross check with IE & planning department to maintain OTS.
∎ To coordinate with all related products on productivity and quality issues
∎ Should have vast experience and strong knowledge in the field of in garments Factory (Denim/ Woven Jackets).
∎ Good knowledge in woven fabrics and trim sourcing.
∎ Should capable to handle different buyer's order independently.
∎ Correspond with buyers of both national & international.
∎ Prepare costing sheet and pricing of Denim garments.
∎ Sourcing of fabrics, trims and accessories from home and abroad.
∎ Supervise sample preparation as per buyers? requirement.
∎ Prepare all types of booking sheet.
∎ Communicate with buyers to negotiate, Convince parties to complete order.
∎ Planning & Programming, Follow ups; i.e. sending samples for approval, coordinate with production to make sure that all activities are carried out as per. planning and able to make alternative decision when deviation occurs.
∎ Having excellent product knowledge with capacity of handling very demanding and renowned based customers.
∎ Wash Knowledge will be considered as additional quality
∎ Report to the Merchandising Manager on the production status and resolve any problems to ensure the order is executed as per buyer specifications.

∎ Strong Denim, Non-Denim (Pants & Jacket) Experience will be given preference
∎ Should able to work under pressure and worked in Factory.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality.
∎ Must demonstrate attitude of integrity, transparence, proactive stance and positive style;
∎ Able to assess options and implications in order to identify a solution
∎ Being pleasant with others on the job and displaying good-natured cooperative attitude.
∎ Computer skills in MS-Office, Windows XP, Power Point and E-mail
∎ Strong oral and written communication skill both in Bangla and English;
