Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate/Masters/Textile Engineer from a reputed University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met
∎ Setting customer service standards
∎ Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers
∎ Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety
∎ Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards
∎ Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures
∎ Provide management and technical reports and customers’ charters
∎ Directing objectives to maximize profitability
∎ Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
∎ Supervising technical or laboratory staff.
∎ Working together with a Quality Assurance (QA) team to assess product problems
∎ Inspecting production components and employees to make sure smooth running the production process
∎ Writing pre-production comments in pp meeting or earlier stage that minimize risk of mistakes during production
∎ Estimating time involved in assuring each product's quality
∎ Meeting deadlines with ensure all quality process
∎ Writing and reviewing testing plans
∎ Investigating causes of defects that occur during the testing phase
∎ Assessing whether employees need training to prevent mistakes during production
∎ Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports
∎ Review existing policies and make suggestions on changes, improvements and implementation
∎ Use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the quality department
∎ Make sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors
∎ Suggesting improvements to company infrastructure and processes to prevent future mistakes during production
∎ Communicating with Quality Control about existing defects and how to prevent them in future products
∎ Communicating with other departments such as project management and engineering to coordinate scheduling for QA testing
∎ Reporting discovered defects to all relevant departments for correction
∎ Applying technical skills related to the product being tested
∎ Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field
∎ Communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Analytical and problem-solving ability
∎ Planning and project management skills
∎ Able to lead and motivate a team
∎ Strategic approach to work in any time and place
∎ Skills in numerical and statistical analysis
∎ Attention to detail
∎ An understanding and appreciation of other people's work and disciplines
∎ Familiar with reporting, emailing, messaging
∎ Fluent with both in Bangle and English
∎ Have a good computer skill especially in MS word, Excel and power point
∎ Self-motivating and hard working
∎ Involving with continues self and department improvement
∎ Persistence and the ability to influence others
