Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ MBA with a preference for candidates with a Textile based background
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strong capable to handle in quantitative analysis , Buyer corresponded and creative work, any Merchandising file of an order starting from new development to shipment of goods
∎ Prepare to production plan & shipment plan for proper execution of sampling and Production according to "Time and Action Calendar" on regular basis with production management
∎ All raw materials ensure are in the house on time by regular follow-up/monitoring.
∎ Meet & deal with Producer/supplier independently for all merchandising activities including costing & price negotiation.
∎ Maintain communication between producer/vendor for all short of development / production and other issues.
∎ Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues.
∎ Communication with others department head or manager to ensure smooth production process.
∎ Leading Supervising merchandising team.
∎ Excellence /Fluency in English speaking, listening and writing to communicate with Buyers regarding production status and receiving new orders.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Need to have verse sound knowledge on consumption (fabric, trims and accessories).
∎ Need to have verse sound knowledge to make effective costing (all components of product costing from all perspectives).
∎ Need to have strong negotiation skills to deal with costing and claims.
∎ Must be able to independently manage product development, understand latest fashion trends, source new yarns and develop customer specific collections.
∎ Be able to set priorities, develop a work schedule, and monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities.
∎ Must have excellent computer skills especially in Excel, Photoshop and knowledge of ERP software.
∎ Must have capability to arrange order place to factory with good price.
∎ Must have Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English .
∎ Ability to work in a team and contribute to team building environment and strong interpersonal and communication skill.
∎ Ensure and supervise the Marketing, Merchandising, Operation, and Planning team to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
∎ Must have the ability to work as a team leader.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan on a regular basis to ensure on-time shipment with the right quality and quantity.
∎ Coordinate with sample section to ensure proper sample design for buyers, send the sample on time and follow up any comments or acceptance of that sample from buyers' side.
∎ Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with the buyers to serve their interests and requirement for smooth Business.
