Responsibilities & Context:

A renowned 100 % export based Garments Accessories manufacturing company is looking for potential candidate as Asst. Manager for performing Store Management related job activities independently at Tongi-Gazipur, Factory Office.

• The potential candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, materials, and warehouse operations within the factory, while minimizing wastage, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring compliance with operational, financial, and regulatory requirements (including bonded warehouse regulations).

Job Responsibilities

1.Inventory Management & Control

• Track all types of inventory (RM, WIP, FG, semi-finished, by-products, wastage).

• Maintain real-time inventory accuracy and reconciliation.

• Analyze stock levels to minimize shortages and excess.

2. Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports on inventory, consumption, and wastage.

• Coordinate with departments for demand forecasts and production needs.

3. Material Movement & Coordination

• Monitor material issuance, transfer, transport, and receiving.

• Ensure proper documentation and reporting.

• Identify and resolve process inefficiencies.

4. Wastage Control & Process Improvement

• Measure and track wastage at all production stages.

• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Control material consumption vs. purchase orders.

5. Demand Planning & Budgeting

• Prepare quarterly to yearly demand projections.

• Develop inventory budgets aligned with business goals.

• Support procurement planning based on production and sales forecasts.

6. Warehouse Management

• Manage Bonded and Non-Bonded Warehouses.

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials.

• Maintain warehouse 6S standards and organization.

7. Stock Optimization & Control

• Prepare material aging reports.

• Manage slow-moving and dead stock effectively.

• Optimize stock turnover and warehouse space.

8. Chemical Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate chemical inventory records.

• Ensure safe, compliant storage and handling.

• Supervise chemical warehouse and sub-stores.

9. Housekeeping & Safety Compliance

• Maintain cleanliness in general, mechanical, and chemical stores.

• Ensure consistent implementation of 6S practices.
