Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the regular maintenance of all machinery used in the manufacturing of lingerie garments, including sewing machines, fabric cutting machines, and specialized lingerie production equipment.
∎ Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime in production.
∎ Perform or delegate repairs to machinery and equipment as necessary.
∎ Coordinate and manage preventive maintenance schedules for machines to reduce the risk of malfunctions.
∎ Lead and manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and maintenance workers.
∎ Collaborate with the production department to ensure all machines are in optimal working condition for continuous garment production.
∎ Respond quickly to machine breakdowns during production, working to reduce downtime and ensure production targets are met.
∎ Manage an inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables required for machine maintenance and repairs.
∎ Maintain records of machine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring compliance with industry standards and factory regulations.
