Responsibilities & Context:

Operate and maintain all plant equipment required to support continuous and efficient plant operations.

Ensure proper start-up, smooth running, and safe shutdown of boilers, turbines, and associated systems.

Operate and monitor control instruments and air compressors to maintain stable plant performance.

Ensure all boiler and turbine operations comply with statutory, regulatory, and environmental requirements.

Troubleshoot and rectify operational faults during plant running to minimize downtime.

Diagnose electro-mechanical faults and plant outages and recommend corrective repair actions.

Manage large-capacity HUSK, Coal, and Bagasse Boilers (above 50 TPH, 50 kg/cm²) along with Extraction cum Back Pressure Steam Turbine and its auxiliaries.

Assist in routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance activities of the plant.

Continuously review plant equipment performance to reduce unplanned shutdowns and improve efficiency.

Identify operational issues proactively and implement timely solutions to enhance reliability.

Issue work permits including cold work, hot work, lockout/tagout, and system isolation as per safety procedures.

Monitor safety practices and ensure availability and proper use of PPE during operations and maintenance.

Maintain proper plant housekeeping and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
