Responsibilities & Context:

·  Issue work permits (e.g., cold work, hot work, lockout/tagout, and system isolation) as required for safe maintenance activities.

·  Control instruments of the air compressor and ensure proper start-up, operation, and shutdown of the boiler.

·  Perform operations required for the boiler and turbine, including regular operation, cold and hot start-up, shutdown, and emergency response to prevent trips.

·  Operate and maintain all equipment of the boiler and steam turbine in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements.

·  Execute O&M activities by applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to perform assignments that may include a variety of complex features under the supervision of the O&M Manager.

·  Carry out the operation of transformers, HT switchgear (SF6 breakers & VCB), LT switchgear, MCC panel, TCP panel, GRP panel, DCDB panel, MCSP panel, ABB Unitrol 6080, 11 kV VFD (SINAMICS PERFECT HARMONY GH180 medium voltage drives), 11 kV motors, EOT crane, battery and charger cum DCDB panel, Woodward governor, HP & LP actuators, magnetic pick-up sensors, vibration sensors, etc. (Electrical).

·  Carry out the operation of various types of pumps, including multistage pumps, control valves, fabricated pipelines, FD fans, burners, dampers, cooling systems, pump alignment, throttle valves, safety valves, governing oil systems, gearboxes, turbine thrust and journal bearings, etc. (Mechanical).

·  Assist in regular maintenance and upgrade-related work of the plant.

·  In case of failure, conduct root cause analysis using relevant drawings, interlocks, and logic systems.

·  Maintain chain of discipline with proper coordination and support.

·  Prepare and update station operation records and all other maintenance reports.
