Experience:
Graduation/Post Graduation, preferably in Quality Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing or Quality Management related qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar or higher managerial position both in a reputed factory and buying/sourcing office.
Proficiency with root-cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
A strong leader and a Team player
Good understanding of apparel construction, workmanship standards, garment testing and factory audits.
A very good knowledge in woven and knit product categories including outerwear.
Leadership skills with ability to manage quality processes, anticipate & solve problems effectively, and develop pipeline of quality talent.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across different cultures, best use of quality tools and statistical analysis.
Good English communication skills both written and spoken is mandatory.
Computer skills (MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and effective presentation skills.
Technical knowledge of patterns, garment construction, fabric properties, and finishing processes.
In depth understanding of international quality standards (e.g. ISO, AQL, OEKO TEX)
Proficient in the use of quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing

About the Role: We are seeking a candidate who has high level of hands-on experience and knowledge to lead and continuously improve our quality management systems. This role is responsible for ensuring that product quality, processes, and systems meet internal company standards and customer expectations across all the factories we work with.
The candidate should have strong leadership skills, highly motivated with a “can do” attitude. He should be data-driven in managing and evaluating factories and his team. Should be a strong believer in quality systems and processes.
The Associate Quality Assurance Manager should lead his team by example and continuously guide his team in enforcing top-tier quality standards throughout the production process across all the factories.
Job Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
Set clear priorities and goals for his team involved in inspection, auditing, product integrity and quality management functions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Conduct training and demonstrate aggressive leadership to ensure the team consistently adhere to company SOPs and quality management tools in order to achieve required quality standards at all times.
Evaluate Team and Factory performance KPIs strictly based on data and ensure data-based decision making.
Have the maturity and expertise to make independent decisions where appropriate and effectively manage the factories and the team with high confidence.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams within the company, buyers and the factories.
Quality Process Improvement
Formulate and implement QA policy, standardize Quality SOPs, manuals & guidelines.
Identify root causes of quality defects and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Drive CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) mechanisms for precautionary measures and prevention of repeated issues. Ensure consistent execution of quality standards across all factories.
Manage the evaluation process of Proto, Fit, and PP samples to ensure they are production-friendly.
Manage in line , prefinal and final audits conducted by the team
Lead and Manage RAM and Pilot Run audits with a high level of effectiveness.
Set KPIs for each quality process to achieve targets of audit pass rates, delivery, safety, and drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
Prepare daily/weekly QA reports to report performance and deviations to management
Analyze quality metrics and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Analyzing quality related data by generating reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements within the team and the factory
Supplier and Customer Management
Build strong working relationships with customers, factories, suppliers and other work partners.
Audit factory’s quality and technical capability to ensure compliance with brand, regulatory, sustainability, social and product safety standards.
Manage factories on improving quality management processes to strengthen collaboration and to deliver consistent product quality.
Interface with factory internal departments, suppliers, and customers to achieve optimal product quality, design, and material utilization.
Act as a key point of contact for customers international stakeholders on quality related topics
