Post Graduation/Graduation from a reputed institution with a satisfactory academic track record. Majoring in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.

  • 6–10 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, or journalism. Experience in the banking/finance sector will be an added advantage.

  • Strong network within the national media landscape.

  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with digital media and current trends in communications and reputation management.

  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • Skills in creative thinking, brand communication and marketing

  • Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and capability to meet deadlines.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Grade: PO - SPO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive media relations strategy aligned with the bank`s brand and business goals.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across print, electronic, and digital media.

  • Draft and distribute media kits, talking points, and opinion pieces that position BRAC Bank as a thought leader in the financial sector.

  • Arrange press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and press events for senior leadership.

  • Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment to identify opportunities and manage reputational risks.

  • Respond to media inquiries and proactively pitch stories that highlight the bank’s innovations, social impact, and customer-centric approach.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify newsworthy developments, milestones, and CSR initiatives.

  • Support crisis communication efforts by preparing holding statements and managing media responses during sensitive situations.

  • Maintain a database of key media contacts and track engagement metrics for reporting and evaluation.
