Post Graduation/Graduation from a reputed institution with a satisfactory academic track record. Majoring in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
6–10 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, or journalism. Experience in the banking/finance sector will be an added advantage.
Strong network within the national media landscape.
Excellent writing, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with digital media and current trends in communications and reputation management.
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Skills in creative thinking, brand communication and marketing
Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and capability to meet deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive media relations strategy aligned with the bank`s brand and business goals.
Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across print, electronic, and digital media.
Draft and distribute media kits, talking points, and opinion pieces that position BRAC Bank as a thought leader in the financial sector.
Arrange press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and press events for senior leadership.
Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment to identify opportunities and manage reputational risks.
Respond to media inquiries and proactively pitch stories that highlight the bank’s innovations, social impact, and customer-centric approach.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify newsworthy developments, milestones, and CSR initiatives.
Support crisis communication efforts by preparing holding statements and managing media responses during sensitive situations.
Maintain a database of key media contacts and track engagement metrics for reporting and evaluation.
