Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from a reputed university (no third division/class at any level).
3–12 years (depending on the position) of professional experience in accounts, finance, or financial reporting; experience in a Bank or NBFI will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, Bangladesh Bank circulars, and regulatory guidelines.
Sound understanding of VAT and Tax regulations applicable in Bangladesh.
Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership capability, including experience supervising or guiding a small team.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, data analysis, and relevant accounting software.

Position Overview
Position Title: Executive Officer (EO) to First Vice President (FVP)
Department: Financial Administration Division (FAD)

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS, Bangladesh Bank guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Prepare annual tax returns, monthly VAT returns, and other statutory returns in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support effective management decision-making.
Monitor and assist in investment decision for investment in the capital market of the Bank.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including General Ledger (GL) reconciliation, inter-branch reconciliation, and periodic financial reporting.
Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements for Bangladesh Bank, NBR, and other relevant authorities.
Review vendor and consultant invoices, ensure cost efficiency, and maintain proper supporting documentation.
Contribute to strengthening internal control mechanisms and enhancing financial processes and reporting quality.
