Position Description: It is a junior-level position based at DGIC Head Office located in the Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are looking for our Insurance Company for the head office as “IT Officer (Support/Network Technician)” to network operations and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining network infrastructure, diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

•           Monitor, maintain & Provide first-level IT support and troubleshooting network systems

•           Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points

•           Provide technical support to users

•           Ensure network security and performance

•           Assist in network operations (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, basic routing)

•           Install, configure, and maintain hardware.

Requirements:

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree with Diploma in Computer Science.

·         Technical Skills: Troubleshooting, Windows OS, networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, MikroTik, Cisco), and MS Office/Google Workspace.

·         Soft Skills: Good communication (Bengali & English), problem-solving, and patience.
