Experience:
Master/Bachelor`s degree from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic track record.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Internal Audit functions, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodology and audit execution processes.
Experience regarding audit of credit, treasury, and foreign trade.
A clear understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Professional certification is preferred, e.g., CIA, CA, ACCA, ACMA, and CIMA.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and capability to meet deadlines.

BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Internal Control and Compliance Division:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform risk-based audit, pre-audit, and inspection as per the Audit Calendar.
Review internal control`s compliance, adequacy, and efficacy over relevant processes, policies, guidelines, best practices, circulars, etc., regarding internal and regulatory requirements.
Review the management of critical risks to ensure that controls have been put into operation and are being monitored.
Manage effective and prompt audits by maintaining cordial relationships, cooperation, and communications.
Prepare audit program, and draft audit report with required workings and relevant documentation.
Keep updated on banking knowledge, BB guidelines, circulars, auditing standards, changes/amendments to laws/regulations, etc.
Prepare unit-specific MIS and reports as per regulatory and internal requirements.
Assist in the preparation of the annual risk-based audit plan.
Participate and supervise any other special assignment, special audit, investigation, field visit, or surprise visit as assigned by the supervisor (this role may require frequent traveling).
Demonstrate a critical and strategic mindset; lead and support change.
