Post Graduation/Graduation from a UGC-approved university with a satisfactory academic track record
Minimum 5 years of working experience in operational risk management or a related field
Any professional certification would be an added advantage such as CFA/FRM/CERM/ISO certification in risk management area/ etc.
Proven track record of effectively managing and mitigating operational risks
Experience in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled, and capable of meeting deadlines.

BRAC Bank seeks an ambitious, intelligent, purpose-driven, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Risk Management Division:
Grade: SO- SPO
Policy & Risk Management Framework
Ownership of the Operational Risk Framework and build upon the existing processes to enhance and further embed the culture and governance pertaining to operational risk within the business
Facilitate bank wide risk management in coordination with respective stakeholders, unit heads & business partners
Identify gaps by using various risk management tools, e.g., forward-looking risk assessment, regulatory risk review, etc.
Lead root cause analyses of operational risk / loss events across the business to ensure appropriate remediation where issues or trends emerge
Conduct risk assessments on various projects running in the bank. Visit different units as and when required
Risk Awareness
Perform risk-based awareness sessions, workshops & training for existing staff & new joiners including team members. Conduct risk distribution workshops across / distribution network ROC & other units
Process, Policies & PPG Framework
Understand the requirements of the departments & identify the gaps in process, policy & PPG requirements; review the policies, process & PPG from ORM perspective
Ensure that all policies, processes& PPG s are up to date & with no control design gaps.
Automation of Risk Management Systems & Projects
Explore opportunities for risk automation by using system tools & involving innovation studio
Contribute to process improvement by ideation & actively participating in the execution; act as a project manager for various projects aimed at automation / tech-enablement of risk management systems
