∎ Strong understanding of computer system Architecture, working experience with Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX etc.).
∎ Strong understanding and working experience in server hardware (RISC/CISC), storage, load balancer, backup, middleware, virtualization, HSM, etc.
∎ Project management capabilities.
∎ Strong command over Linux shell scripting, python, and automation tools, computer networking (IP, routing, NAT, masquerading, DNS).
∎ Multitasking, prioritization, time management and teamwork skills in large teams.
∎ Passionate about learning and taking challenges; Challenge the status quo.
∎ Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skill, analytical skills/problem-solving/conceptual thinking
∎ Vendor Certification is preferable for UNIX, Linux, Windows, Backup, virtualization, load balancer, middleware, and others shall get an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Regularly administer, operate, integrate, and troubleshoot traditional (for both Blade and rack servers), converged, and hyper-converged infrastructure installations from DELL, HP, CISCO, and Lenovo, including both CAN (Converged Adapter Network) and traditional approaches.
∎ Perform regular administration, operation, integration, and troubleshooting of basic features in Windows (Hyper-V, Exchange) and Linux (mail, DNS, proxy, SMTP, LDAP, security hardening, and others).
∎ Manage and troubleshoot virtualization environments, including VMware, Tanzu, oVirt, OpenShift, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other HCI solutions.
∎ Perform administration and troubleshooting of various backup software including EMC-Networker, Veeam, Veritas, and others.
∎ Regularly operate, integrate, and troubleshoot middleware, including Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, JBoss, and Tomcat.
∎ Leverage expertise in cutting-edge technologies like Ansible, Jenkins, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI) to drive future-proof infrastructure automation.
∎ Ensure all services are running within capacity and healthy by running regular health checks and taking corrective measures.
∎ Understand and run operations based on ITIL practices (change, incident, problem, time, CMDB and capacity management).
∎ Ensure that audit issues (regulatory/internal/external) are addressed duly to resolve and regularize them and respond to/escalate audit comments in a timely manner.
∎ Timely escalate service quality issues and proactively resolve to ensure satisfaction.
∎ Ensure 24/7 support modality for Hardware, OS, and Backup systems.
∎ Regular VA mitigation activity (Patch Update, Firmware Update, Bug Fix etc.)
∎ Ensure problem analysis and solving of Vulnerabilities of systems and minimize risk or human errors.
∎ Manage Vendor and multiplatform hardware platform software solutions for running BAU service.
∎ Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management.
∎ Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
∎ Protective update is required for maintenance, monitoring, documentation, processes, and procedures.
