Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Practical knowledge coupled with professional certifications on “Data Analytics” and/or “Data Science”.
CEAF (Certified Expert in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime) and/or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification will be an added advantage.
Proven track record as a compliance professional with preferably 3 to 4 years in the relevant field and a total 7+ years of job experience.
Be well-versed on the Money Laundering Prevention Act, 2012, Anti-Terrorism Act, 2009, Banking Company Act, 1991, Company Act, 1994, relevant Regulatory Circulars, etc.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Self-propelled, proficient in customer-centricity, team player, and capability to meet deadlines.

BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Anti-Money Laundering Division
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The role involves representing AMLD with the Head of AML Trade and Business Advisory on AML issues, assessing escalations, and providing guidance.
- Being the contact point for escalations of AML and CFT related issues, ensuring adequate support for the AMLD to oversee the compliance program.
- Assembling data, preparing periodic and special MIS reports, and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends related to AML and CFT issues. Predictive models and algorithms are developed to predict trends on AML and CFT risk related issues.
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Maintaining and developing AML controls across the bank, implementing control effectiveness and efficiency improvements, and assessing and reviewing cases to obtain necessary approvals.
- Providing advice to internal businesses and operations regarding financial crime risks and controls,
- Assessing and reviewing of necessary CDD/EDD/PEP/IP/Exception approvals and providing approval as delegated by CAMLCO.
- Reviewing and approving escalated transaction monitoring alerts from trade, remittance, operations, branch, alternative delivery channels and recommending appropriate measures to the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensuring product governance measures are in place and conduct product risk assessment on AML perspective.
- Preparing AML-CFT training materials and eLearning questionnaires.
- Administering policies and procedures related to record retention
- Monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes to update policies and procedures accordingly.
- Assurance Review of Branch, Sub-Branch, Agent Banking, SME Units, and other department/ operations/ units (as advised by senior management and CAMLCO) to ensure compliance of internal and external circulars and guidelines on AML issued by Regulator. Both onsite and offsite assurance reviews to be performed ensuring identification and assessment of the risks and control Operating effectiveness.
- Support to prepare Half-yearly report and other ad hoc reports which is to be forwarded to the regulator.
