Job Context:
∎ Report to: Plant Head (Production Head)
∎ Position Summary: We are seeking an energetic, proactive Assistant Production Manager (Resin Plant) to streamline production under the supervision of our Production Head. As an Assistant Production Manager, you have to organize and oversee the manufacturing of UF Resin, MUF Resin & PF Resin and your duties will include assigning materials, equipment, and human resources to the production department, also overseeing quality control and costs. We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures of different type of resin. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate exceptional planning abilities, which would ultimately translate to high production rates.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan production meetings, worker schedules, production activities, machine maintenance plans and maintain product quality and budgets. (Resin Plant)
∎ Plan, formulate, organize, control, and direct production (Resin Plant) activities.
∎ Maintain production delivery docs and host weekly production WIP with internal teams, elevate and communicate high risk potential order problems.
∎ Assisting the Production Head with administrative tasks like production schedules and timesheets.
∎ Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate.
∎ Ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers.
∎ Manage time-lines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned factory time-lines and goals.
∎ Ensure that the product effectively satisfies the quality level ordered by the customer.
∎ Organize the repair of any damaged equipment.
∎ Execute factory manufacturing strategic plan and aligning it with general plant strategy.
∎ Supervise quality standards and enforce quality-control programs.
∎ Collaborate with sales agents, vendors and financial department to ensure the successful run of receiving and shipping schedule.
∎ Collaborate with other factory managers to find best practices and the best solution.
∎ To see that the safety standards are being maintained within the factory and workers are abiding by workplace safety rules.
∎ Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
∎ Preparing production reports (Resin Plant) and submitting them to key decision-makers.
∎ Regularly inspecting finished products whether they meet quality standards.
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-5 years of strong track record of success in UF Resin, MUF Resin& PF Resin Manufacturing Industry.
∎ Educational qualification will be considered for highly experienced candidate.
∎ Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Safety, Quality, Productivity. Must own and drive all three, in that order.
∎ Excellent time management skills to meet frequent deadlines.
∎ Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solves problems quickly and communicates clearly.
∎ Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts.
∎ Meticulous attention to detail.
∎ Strong work ethic.
∎ An overall "CAN DO" attitude.
∎ Knowledge of SAP software or other ERP (an asset)
