Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Asset Management
Maintain, verify, and update IT asset information using IFS; prepare periodic reports and ensure all devices are physically functional and compliant.
Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and lifecycle tracking of IT assets using approved formats and procedures.
Assist in audits and physical verification of IT assets.
End-User Support & Service Desk
Configure, install, and deploy ICT devices (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals) for end users as per organizational standards.
Manage and monitor the E-Ticketing System, ensuring timely response and resolution of IT issues.
Communicate effectively with users to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and system-related problems.
Infrastructure & Application Support
Support and monitor IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, printers, and network devices.
Provide first-level support for core banking/financial applications and other business systems used by the NBFI.
Assist in system upgrades, patching, software installations, and configuration changes.
Security, Backup & Compliance
Support implementation of data security, system backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
Ensure compliance with ICT policies, internal controls, and Bangladesh Bank/NBFI regulatory guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality and protect organizational and customer data.
Vendor Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT support, maintenance, and warranty services.
Maintain updated documentation of IT assets, licenses, configurations, and support records.
Training & Continuous Improvement
Provide basic user training and guidance on ICT tools, systems, and best practices.
Support ICT initiatives and projects aimed at improving system efficiency and user experience.
