Strong knowledge of fabric inspection procedures, lab testing standards, shade control & others materials related to Lingerie garments production.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Material Quality to oversee fabric and raw material quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will ensure all incoming materials meet company standards, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain rigorous quality control from inspection to final production.
Supervise and guide the fabric inspection team to ensure adherence to company quality standards.
Ensure all company-standard practices and procedures are strictly followed within the materials department.
Maintain close communication with the marketing team regarding any raw material or approval issues.
Inspect and approve all incoming raw materials according to standards, using the required light source.
Monitor and control shade variations between components of the products.
Review fabric test reports and coordinate with the lab team to address any concerns.
Maintain approved lab dips and trim cards for future reference.
Conduct monthly supplier performance evaluations as per schedule and keep detailed records.
Collaborate closely with existing sewing lines to resolve any raw material issues promptly.
Immediately address and resolve fabric or shade issues arising on the sewing floor.
