• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong communication skills.

• Assist in deciding and optimizing the overall Supply Chain (logistics and distribution) network and awarding the business to competitive service providers for all distribution points for total distribution of finished goods as per supervision.

• Evaluate various logistics and distribution value enhancement projects (3PL & 4PL) and ensure the projects are implemented as per the agreed time schedule to deliver the expected benefits and meet the business development plans guided by the supervisor.

• Help out in the selection and development of the carriers (3rd party and company owned) for efficient and safe transportation.

• Develop & maintain relations with company transport providers & 3rd party transport agencies to take all necessary steps for ensuring safe & timely delivery of consignment.

• Ensure controls and procedures are in place for efficient and correct stock deployment across the entire value chain to ensure optimum distribution cost and freshness index and maintain the desirable service levels for all customers.

• Support in analyzing logistical problems and developing new solutions for both distributor & depot operation to increase business growth and cost-effective operation.

• Work closely with other supply chain units to ensure effective delivery management to ensure a competitive advantage.

• Make a liaison with the production line for stock availability and take necessary steps if a crisis period of short stock occurs and make sure that all dispatched programs must be aligned with stock available at that time period.

• Coordinate with respective departmental concerns to collect information about the delivery program.

• Prepare a delivery plan in SAP, prepare necessary reporting and SKU-wise delivery programs using related SAP modules.

• Prepare necessary logistical reports related to distribution logistics as guided by the supervisor.

• Ensure accuracy and integrity in day-to-day tasks that will have been assigned by the reporting manager/supervisor based on job scope.
