Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the development and execution of brand strategies for the assigned product category, ensuring strong market positioning and consumer relevance.
∎ Oversee consumer insight analysis to guide product positioning, packaging design, and marketing strategies.
∎ Develop and execute initiatives to optimize category growth, market penetration, and brand visibility.
∎ Collaborate with sales and trade marketing teams to align brand strategies with retail and distribution channels for maximum impact.
∎ Work cross-functionally with R&D, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless product execution.
∎ Track category performance, brand health, and competitor activity, refining strategies as needed.
∎ Develop new products and enhance existing ones to ensure differentiation, relevance, and consumer appeal.
∎ Work closely with packaging suppliers to design cost-effective yet premium packaging solutions that align with brand identity.
∎ Develop pricing strategies that balance market competitiveness and profitability.
∎ Ensure packaging and product innovations meet consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
∎ Sales & Market Performance Analysis
∎ Monitor category and brand sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and risk mitigation.
∎ Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and sales data reviews to guide brand decisions.
∎ Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and trade activations, making data-driven adjustments.
∎ Work closely with the sales team to optimize channel strategies, pricing, and promotional activities.

∎ Assist in developing the Annual Marketing Plan & Budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.

∎ Support budget planning and forecasting for brand and category initiatives, optimizing financial resources for strategic growth.

∎ Conduct market research and consumer insights studies to guide brand positioning.

∎ The Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an assigned product category, leading the development and execution of brand strategies to drive market success. This role blends strategic thinking with creativity, overseeing end-to-end product development, including consumer insights, packaging, pricing, and positioning, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
