Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural markets, rural distribution models, and seasonal demand cycles preferred.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, Excel, dashboards, and reporting tools.

  • 8-10 years of experience in Route-to-Market strategy, distribution management, commercial planning, or sales operations.

  • Experience in agriculture, agri-inputs, FMCG, or rural distribution networks preferred.

  • Proven experience in territory design, distributor management, and channel expansion initiatives.

  • Exposure to large-scale field sales structures and multi-tier distribution systems.

Strategic Distribution & RTM Manager will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the company's Route-to-Market (RTM) strategy to ensure effective market coverage, distribution efficiency, and sustainable revenue growth. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams, the Strategic RTM Manager will drive structured channel development, territory planning, distributor performance management, and data-driven commercial decisions

What You Will Do

RTM Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement structured Route-to-Market strategies aligned with corporate sales and growth objectives.

  • Design channel segmentation models across distributors, dealers, retailers, and key accounts.

  • Optimize territory alignment, sales force deployment, and coverage models.

Distribution & Channel Management:

  • Evaluate distributor and channel partner performance and recommend corrective actions.

  • Establish KPIs to measure productivity, service levels, and profitability across channels.

  • Lead initiatives to improve cost-to-serve and enhance channel efficiency.

Performance Reporting & Analytics:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly RTM performance reports including KPIs, coverage analysis, and ROI metrics.

  • Develop dashboards to monitor distribution health, sales productivity, and channel profitability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure RTM readiness for product launches and campaigns.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to align demand forecasting and inventory planning.

Reports to: Sales Programming and Demand Generation Lead
