  • 5-6 years of proven, progressive work experience in the FMCG sector.

  • Demonstrated experience in Sales, Retail Sales, and Corporate Sales, specifically within the Food Products business area.

  • Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and the mindset to ride a motorbike extensively across the territory.

  • Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of computer applications, particularly the MS Office suite (especially Excel/MS applications).

  • Communication: Excellent command in both spoken and written English.

  • Mindset: A positive, self-motivated, proactive problem-solver with a strong, career-oriented work ethic and excellent situational leadership skills.

The Role: Area Sales Manager

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our success in your assigned territory. You will be responsible for defining and dominating the local market, ensuring aggressive sales growth, and building a high-performance team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Target Achievement:

  • Drive Results: Achieve and consistently exceed ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets.

  • Team Mastery: Successfully lead, motivate, and mentor multiple teams of Territory Officers (TO) and Sales Officers (SO) to maximize their potential and market coverage.

  • Distribution & Market Development:

  • Strategic Deployment: Be flexible to be posted anywhere in Bangladesh and take ownership of establishing new distribution facilities as required.

  • Field Command: Travel extensively across assigned business areas to manage field operations, ensuring optimal route-to-market and high visibility.

  • Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate strong, trustworthy, and professional relationships with assigned business partners and external/internal stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and policy-compliant environment.

  • Execution, Brand Building & ROI:

  • Promotional Strategy: Plan, execute, and monitor market execution strategies, including consumer and trade promotion activities.

  • Maximize Returns: Ensure every marketing and trade investment delivers a maximized Return on Investment (ROI) to strengthen the brand.

  • Planning & Analytics:

  • Budget Management: Plan, execute, and monitor the utilization of the financial budget for the assigned business area in line with the company`s overall strategy.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain all required documentation, distribution stock levels, and sales tracking sheets accurately and submit timely reports to the relevant authorities.
