Job Description:


The Manager – Modern Trade is responsible for driving sales growth across modern trade channels including super shops, key accounts, and retail chains. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, leading the sales team, and ensuring strong in-store execution to achieve revenue and market share targets.

key Responsibilities:


⚫️ Develop, implement, and continuously refine modern trade sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share objectives.
⚫️ Manage and strengthen relationships with key retail accounts, negotiate contracts, and ensure mutual business growth.
⚫️ Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand distribution, and enhance market penetration.
⚫️ Plan and execute trade promotions, campaigns, and in-store visibility initiatives to drive sales.
⚫️ Lead, coach, and mentor the modern trade sales team, setting clear targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability.
⚫️ Prepare sales forecasts, analyse performance data, and collaborate with the supply chain team to maintain optimal stock levels.
⚫️ Generate detailed sales reports, insights, and recommendations for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
⚫️ Ensure compliance with company policies, modern trade guidelines, and operational standards in all trade activities.
