Responsibilities & Context:
A. Business development (new revenue):
• Build and manage a pipeline of brands, agencies, production houses, photographers, e-commerce studios, event companies, and corporate clients.
• Identify decision-makers and set meetings (in-person + online).
• Present Spark’s roster, pricing, and booking process clearly.
• Negotiate commercial terms: rates, usage rights, exclusivity, overtime, cancellation, payment terms.
• Close deals and convert them into confirmed bookings.
B. Account management (repeat revenue):
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and create repeat booking cycles.
• Track client preferences (faces, budgets, timelines, deliverables).
• Upsell bundled services: test shoot packages, studio packages, monthly content retainers, social collaborations.
C. Booking economics and deal quality:
• Quote correctly based on: model tier, hours, deliverables, usage, and client risk.
• Protect agency margin and ensure costs (HMUA, studio, retouching, transport) are priced in.
• Ensure payment terms and deposits are enforced for riskier clients.
D. Commercial coordination:
• Hand off booked jobs to Ops with complete details (scope, timings, deliverables, rates, usage, approvals).
• Support post-job feedback, invoice follow-up, and collections in coordination with Accounts.
Deliverables (non-negotiable):
• Weekly pipeline report (leads, meetings, proposals, follow-ups, closures).
• Updated rate card usage and discount log.
• Deal sheets per booking with margin estimate.
• Monthly revenue forecast (next 30/60 days).
KPIs (performance measured on these):
• Booked revenue per month (BDT)
• Gross margin % (agency margin after direct shoot costs)
• qualified leads per week / # meetings per week
• Proposal-to-close conversion %
• Repeat client rate
• Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) / collection speed (shared KPI with Accounts)
