Job Responsibilities:
∎ Involve with preparation of the strategic document, Investment plan, Production plan in accordance with the ABP and budget to meet the enterprise's short and long term goals and implementing as per strategic priorities
∎ Develop and implement detailed production schedules, budgets, duty assignments and resource planning to meet the weekly, monthly and quaterly production targets. Monitor the progresses and make strategic decisions for necessary adjustments in case of any emerging limitations
∎ Supervise a team of Hatchery Managers to ensure their job accomplishment in a timely, efficient and effective manner. Coach, train and motivate them to strengthen their capacity and encourage high performance in the team
∎ Ensure the quality standards in all products and services. Analyze the industry trends and behaviour, review the standards and srtive for quality improvement through process refining and adoption of new/ improved technologies
∎ Monitor, evaluate and review the production processes and develop new ways to save steps, time and materials in order to reduce costs without compromising quality. Take and implement plans to control inventory, improve efficiency and increase production
∎ Design and implement R&D activities to develop new products, improve product quality and production process to increase efficiency. Strengthen partnership/ collaboration with universities, research institutes and development organizations to bring in the technological excellence
∎ Coordinate with internal stakeholders like procurement, finance & accounts, HR, internal audit and monitoring departments and the external stakeholders as well for smooth operation
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Do other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience Requirements: Minimum 10 years of working experience in Fish Hatchery Business and Operation where at least 05 years in managerial positions.
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Must have sound working knowledge of Fish Biology and Genetics, Hatchery Designing, Raw Materials, Production Process and Quality Control, Business Management, Financial Planning and Supply Chain Management
∎ Must have Good Communication, Report writing, Presentation and computer skills, Problem solving ability, Analytical ability, Strong interpersonal, People management, Persuasion and negotiation skills
∎ Must be able to design Strategic planning, Budgeting, Monitoring tools and Techniques, Independent and capable of independent decision making, thinking out of box
∎ Educational qualification may be relaxed for more experience candidates.
