Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
The Packaging Supervisor will manage and oversee packaging activities to ensure product quality, accurate labeling, and proper packing according to company and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily packaging operations.
Ensure packaging materials are used efficiently and correctly.
Verify product labeling, weight, and packaging standards.
Monitor packing staff productivity and maintain discipline.
Ensure hygiene and safety practices in the packaging area.
Report any packaging defects or machine issues to management.
Maintain stock of packaging materials and inform the store/production team when inventory is low.
Prepare daily packaging reports.
