Responsibilities & Context:
Plan, monitor, and control daily feed production to meet sales demand and inventory targets.
Ensure proper operation of all machinery and plant performance KPIs (capacity utilization, energy consumption, wastage, downtime).
Coordinate with QA/QC and Nutrition teams to ensure feed quality meets company standards.
Implement and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
Ensure spare parts inventory is maintained at optimum levels.
Supervise and guide plant supervisors, operators, and technical staff.
Conduct training and skill development sessions for operators and maintenance teams.
Enforce discipline, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Ensure compliance with ISO 22000 and other industry standards.
Monitor raw material handling and finished product storage in coordination with Store/Logistics.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production and maintenance reports.
Analyze variances and recommend process improvements.
Coordinate with Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, QA/QC, and other departments.
