Pawspital is a 24-hour veterinary hospital dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for animals. We are looking for passionate and committed veterinarians who genuinely care about animal welfare and are ready to work in a dynamic clinical environment.

We are currently looking for a veterinarian to primarily cover night-shift duties at Pawspital 24/7 Veterinary Hospital as well as daytime.

We are looking for veterinarians who are not only qualified, but genuinely passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing hands-on, compassionate veterinary care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine, diagnose, and provide appropriate medical treatment to animal patients.

• Manage emergency and critical care cases, including stabilization and ongoing monitoring.

• Perform routine consultations, health check-ups, medical procedures, and treatments.

• Perform and assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative assessment and post-operative care.

• Perform procedures such as blood collection, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, injections, wound management, urinary catheterization, and other routine clinical procedures.

• Monitor hospitalized and critical patients and make appropriate clinical decisions regarding their treatment and care.

• Prepare and follow individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, prescriptions, and treatment notes.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with pet parents regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, prognosis, and follow-up care.

• Work closely with veterinary assistants and other members of the clinical team to ensure proper patient care.

• Ensure proper hygiene, infection control, patient safety, and clinical protocols are consistently followed.

• Provide veterinary care for small animals, including cats, dogs, birds, and other companion animals.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Responsible, hardworking, compassionate, and reliable.

• Confident in handling small-animal patients and clinical procedures.

• Comfortable performing hands-on medical procedures independently.

• Willing and able to perform and assist with surgeries.

• Must be comfortable working in a 24/7 veterinary hospital environment.

• 12-hour roster-based duties, including rotational day, night, and overnight shifts.

• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as part of the rotational roster.
