Pawspital 24/7 Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Pawspital is a 24-hour veterinary hospital committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for animals. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who genuinely cares about animal welfare and can confidently support our veterinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

🔹 Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant / Vet Care Assistant is required
• Must be experienced and confident in blood collection
• Must be skilled in IV catheter placement and IV administration
• Comfortable handling cats and dogs safely
• Able to assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures and emergencies
• Able to monitor hospitalized/inpatient animals and provide proper basic care
• Responsible, attentive and able to work under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to work in a 24-hour hospital environment, including night shifts, weekends and holidays as required

🔹 Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians with medical procedures and treatments
• Blood collection and sample preparation
• IV catheter placement and IV fluid administration
• Medication administration as instructed by the veterinarian
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and reporting changes promptly
• Safe handling and restraint of animals
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the clinical areas
• Supporting the veterinary team during emergency cases
• Providing compassionate care and attention to hospitalized animals
