Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare plans for purchasing feed additives, general Items, spare parts and raw materials both from local and international markets.
Maintain close monitoring of market trends, substitute products, and relations with suppliers to create a competitive advantage.
Ensure timely delivery and manage transport for both in-house and outsource.
Maintain and update all the relevant records.
Generate the purchase order (PO) in the system against the selected vendor to purchase the material.
Check all the documents; i.e. GRN/MRR, supplier’s bill copy, delivery challan, purchase order, and other documents to ensure the payment is within due time.
Identifies new technologies and products/services, and evaluates, and recommends potential suppliers.
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
