Responsibilities & Context:
- Assist in daily inspection and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.(batching plant, mixers, silos, conveyors, mixer trucks, pay loader, concrete pump, etc.)
- Support periodic servicing, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
- Maintain daily maintenance records and logbooks.
- Assist track and record usage of spare parts and consumables.
- Coordinate in preparing requisitions and follow up with the store or purchase team.
- Support the erection, commissioning, and shifting of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in alignment, fitting, and installation of mechanical parts.
- Attend mechanical breakdowns and assist in restoring operations quickly.
- Report critical issues with root cause observations to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with the production and operations to ensure smooth machinery operation.
- Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
- Ensure Mechanical tools and parts are properly stored after use.
- Store tools and parts properly after use and maintain cleanliness.
- Maintain checklists, service records, and shift handover logs, and submit daily or weekly progress reports as required.
