Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context: Meghna Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd. (Liner & Medium, Plant -5), one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), which is involved in producing Industrial paper and Coated duplex board etc. The position of "Assistant Engineer" will play the Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation related engineering responsibilities and will report to the functional head.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow up spare parts management to prepare a list of preventive maintenance in accordance with the process.
- Identify and source quality spare parts and components required for the maintenance and repair of the organization's fleet.
- Maintain log sheet, operator logbook and normal/abnormal parameters to ensure proper tracking of the circumstances.
- Assist in operating erection and commissioning of machines when required.
- Assist in analyzing trends and taking corrective measures for repetitive problems.
- Prepare mechanical instrument requisitions for preventive and regular maintenance.
- Assist in finding operational problems and troubleshooting during plant operation.
- Support the production team to resolve issues and enhance departmental and operational processes.
