Job Context:

Fresh Polymer and Paints Limited (FPPL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is establishing a polymer manufacturing industry at the Comilla Economic Zone, Bangladesh. The plant focuses on producing high-quality uPVC WPC doors and uPVC foam sheets. FPPL is seeking a motivated, honest, proactive, and energetic professional for the position of Asst. Engineer – Mechanical/Electrical to support day-to-day Mechanical/Electrical activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying operational problems and performing troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted production and safe plant performance.

• Coordinate with other teams to resolve technical issues and improve departmental and operational efficiency.

• Assist in maintenance activities of pumps, compressors, valves, and related equipment, including replacement of mechanical seals and seal pot oil, to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

• Inspect the condition of column trays, rotary equipment, piping, vessels, columns, and tanks to minimize the risk of mechanical or electrical failure.

• Assist in erection, installation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment to ensure proper setup, compliance with technical standards, and smooth plant startup.

• Analyze operational trends and implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive faults and breakdowns.

• Prepare mechanical and electrical instrument requisitions for preventive and routine maintenance activities to ensure timely availability of spare parts and effective maintenance planning.

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to identify hazards, defects, and requirements for adjustment or repair.

• Maintain log sheets, operator logbooks, and records of normal and abnormal operating parameters to ensure accurate operational tracking, compliance, and effective analysis of plant performance.
