Additional Requirements:
  • Candidates with working experience in calcium carbonate plants will get preference.

  • Sound knowledge of chemical plants regarding the plant’s processes and control systems.

  • Practical knowledge of troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing and repair.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot control room systems, including SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, and other automation equipment, with practical programming experience.

  • Oversee the routine maintenance of large motors (75kW–800kW), high-capacity VFDs (up to 1000kW), MCC panels, control panels, and machine systems.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and system failures to reduce equipment downtime and ensure consistent plant operations.

  • Maintain substation equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection relays, sensors, transmitters, and controllers.

  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, including power outages, short circuits, and fire alarms, and work closely with technicians to restore systems.

  • Collaborate with mechanical, production, and quality departments to ensure coordinated plant operations.

  • Track and follow up on pending maintenance tasks and assist in ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.

  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts, equipment usage, and inventory requirements, and prepare related reports and documentation.

  • Support management in preparing presentations, briefings, and maintenance reviews as required.

  • Uphold a professional and respectful work culture and perform any additional tasks as directed by senior leadership.
