Job Context:
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the largest conglomerates in Bangladesh. Unique Cement Industries Limited (UCIL), which is a sister concerns of MGI, is a leading cement manufacturer in Bangladesh. We are currently looking for some proactive and skilled professionals for its electrical and instrumentation department. The incumbent will be responsible for handling daily electrical maintenance activities and report to functional head for his or her duties and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Check electrical system, equipment and machinery of the plant to identify hazards, defects and need for adjustment or repair.
Perform all electrical maintenance activities to improve machine’s productivities.
Review of electrical drawing/documents to ensure the completeness, adequacy, and timely availability.
Preform electrical modification or improvement activities to upgrade system.
Execute preventive maintenance of the electrical system to reduce the cost.
Assist in reducing the cost of electrical maintenance by minimizing repetition of maintenance.
Develop sub-ordinates by imparting training to improve work performance.
Provide safety guidelines/safety briefing to sub-ordinates every day and create awareness for unsafe activities.
Assist in reviewing the requirements of electrical spares to support the respective department.
Prepare all maintenance records according to the standard requirement for future documentation.
