Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Estimate budget for household-based rainwater harvesting system, community and institutional based Rainwater harvesting and other water supply systems
∎ Installation of the household-based rainwater harvesting system and institutional rainwater harvesting system for safe drinking water
∎ Installation of community based solar powered surface water treatment
∎ Installation and management of water bank through additional rainwater harvesting system
∎ Assist design, mapping, environmental and social compliance, screening and installation of water options
∎ Continuous monitoring of construction and management of workers
∎ Community-based, climate-risk informed Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and management of the resilient drinking water solutions
∎ Preparation of necessary user manual for O & M of the water interventions
∎ Producing reports, when necessary, about the progress of activities
∎ Assist finance, account and MEAL team with adequate information when necessary
∎ Maintain sharing of lessons learnt and best practices from major programme intervention;
∎ Coordinate with admin and procure necessary materials for implementation
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ JOB PURPOSE:
∎ Responsible for overseeing the direct implementation and also record keeping of programme activities in the field. As well as to maintain regular communication and follow up with the programme participants who would benefit from the field level implementations. Also responsible for design and implement the water interventions including household-based rainwater harvesting system and institutional based rainwater harvesting system and community water treatment options.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
