Job Context:
∎ Ours is a 100% woven outerwear manufacturing factory. We are looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for Quality Control Department for Non-Sewing Areas ie, cutting, store, sample, Template quilting etc.
∎ Job Location is: Debonair Limited
∎ Address: Gorat, Sarker Market, Ashulia, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Candidate will be responsible to lead the fabrics inspection quality team, accessories inspection quality team, cutting section quality team, and template sewing quality team which are about 120 quality personnel.
∎ 2. Candidate will closely monitor the activity of the fabrics and accessories inspection method system and report to concern management in case of any irregularities which can be serious problems in the production phase.
∎ 3. Candidate will closely review and analyze the FTD (Fabrics data Sheet) / BOM (Bill of Materials) Sheet and do need full action in case of any identified risk and report to the concerned department head / top management.
∎ 4. Candidate will follow up and closely monitor the SOP of Cutting Quality Control, Template Section Quality Control System, Down Filling, and Down Crushing System, and Implement of SOP of down jacket quality requirement.
∎ 5. Candidate must do needful communication with sample and CAD department and ensure the accuracy of pattern and marker prior to proceeding with cutting operation.
∎ 6. Candidate will be responsible to review the size set cutting permission requirement and do needful communication with central cutting responsible execution planning responsible and Top Management of Quality to discuss any risk and proceed accordingly.
∎ 7. Candidate will do needful communication in relation to fabric and accessories quality standards, identify risks and issues which might create problems in the production phase, and communicate in advance with the concerned Merchandising team and SCM (Supply Chain Management) to get the solution from suppliers end.
∎ 8. Communicate the identified problems through email and keep a record of the communication and provide solutions to ensure the quality of materials prior to production.
