Job Summary

The General Manager – Operations & Planning is responsible for overall factory operations, production planning execution for 60 lines 100% Outerwear jacket manufacturing factory.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Operations Management

• Manage end-to-end operations of a 60-line outer wear jacket manufacturing factory followed by TNA

• Functional skill matrix and IE based production operation.

• Ensure proper line feeding and uninterrupted production flow across all lines.

• Ensure presentable factory environment in the layout with 50 to 55 machines and focus to ensure good work station along with 5S maintain.

• Monitor daily production performance and take corrective actions when needed.

• Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.

• Coordinate with merchandising, production, IE, and other departments.

• Apply strong technical knowledge in outerwear jacket manufacturing processes.

• Handle specialized operations such as outerwear, padding, quilting, and seam sealing.

• Implement automation based production system and utilize specialized machineries to improve efficiency and productivity.

Planning & Capacity Management

• Regular connectivity with central planning and merchandising / SCM team.

• Execution of monthly production plan based on order requirements.

• Pre-production activity schedules and TNA maintain.

• Plan shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery.

• Ensure maximum utilization of available capacity.

ERP & Data Management

• Ensure all planning and production data is accurately maintained in the ERP system.

• Regularly update, analyze, and review production and planning reports.

• Maintain accurate production figures and style reconciliation data.

• Provide reliable data for post-order profitability analysis and reporting.

Production Monitoring & Reporting

• Track production progress against plan and take corrective actions.

• Ensure timely updates of production status and shipment readiness.

• Maintain detailed production plans to avoid delays or disruptions.

Compliance & Work Hour Planning

• Prepare production plans considering local law and respect the requirement of our valued buyers

• Run the factory followed by a standard working hour (work life balance) with a maximum of 10 hours per day and full control to ensure it.

Balance production targets with ethical and legal standards.
