Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. To receive Sample Swatch from Marketing then overall analysis and develop sample as per buyer demand.
∎ 2. Supervise loom to finished fabric Inspection.
∎ 3. Follow up record keeping & ensure the quality as per buyer requirement.
∎ 4. Co-ordinate with marketing, Planning and Production people.
∎ 5. Ensure Fabric cost engineering including proper communication with the factory management team.
∎ 6. Ensure Proper demonstration of a sound understanding of fabric design & product priorities.
∎ 7. Ensure tracking all the components of fabric and wash resource library to support seasonal inspiration as well as archive GAP Brand fabrics platform.
∎ 8. Maintain analysis of fabric testing report by risk assessment tool to level set expectations across functional areas.
∎ 9. Ensure proper maintenance of fabric process discipline throughout product-to-market calendar to ensure fabric alignment and sampling.
∎ 10. Carry out trial and experiment to solve any problem regarding the quality of fabric & to modify and upgrade the existing process.
∎ 11. All type of finish development.
∎ 12. Maintain pricing guideline for the overall work plan.
∎ 13. If any fire safety hazard is observed, immediate action to be taken against fire safety hazard and inform to management immediately in case of any risk or incident.
∎ 14. Ensure working area is neat and clean.
∎ 15. Perform any other duties assigned by higher authorities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should be very fluent in English communication.
∎ Sound technical knowledge.
∎ Good experience to handle foreign buyers.
∎ Fabric knowledge, technical knowledge (washing, dyeing, warping, weaving, finishing,)
∎ Knowledge of QC process
∎ Up to date knowledge on equipment/machinery.
∎ Planning and analytical skill
∎ Computer literacy
