Job Context:
∎ To perform all works of CAD, Sample & Technical department of a reputed WOVEN Factory located in Sreepur, Gazipur.
∎ Must have a positive mindset to stay nearby our factory.
∎ Based on the candidate`s job profile, the position will be offered.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Good knowledge of Lectra, Garber, Optitex CAD Software, etc.
∎ Responsible to prepare sample after approval from the buyer and send it to the concerned sections of the garments division.
∎ Responsible to ensure that any change made in the previously approved sample is communicated to the concerned persons timely.
∎ Responsible to ensure that quality samples are prepared and the same samples are given to the garments division so that they can maintain the required standard.
∎ Responsible to Check the Sketching sample & Making the Sample as per the Buyer's Requirement.
∎ Create a master pattern for each size within a range of garment sizes, using measurement charts, drafting instruments, CAD computers, and/or grading devices.
∎ Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material and mark fabric accordingly.
∎ Examine sketches, sample articles, and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts, and to determine the amount of material or fabric required to make a product consumption.
∎ Mark samples and finished patterns with information such as garment size, section, style, identification, and sewing instructions.
∎ Assessment of design sample, fit sample, red seal & gold seal samples upon received from the buyer.
∎ Thorough Knowledge of fabrics consumption, pattern grading, CAD marker, fabrics construction, fabrics quality, tests & washes, seam strength & shrinkage performance, etc.
∎ Must have good knowledge of the woven items manufacturing process and risk assessment of the product.
∎ Will be responsible to prepare patterns as per the requirement given by the buyer through the merchandiser and ensure timely.
∎ Any other works as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 36 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following areas:
∎ CAD and Sampling
∎ Ability to amend the pattern as per fit/ measurement/shape required by the buyer.
∎ Ability to check garments and should have sound knowledge for taking decisions.
∎ Knowledge to check fitting garments on a dummy and suggest pattern correction if required.
∎ Sound knowledge about fabric shrinkage.
∎ Efficiency in verbal and written English.
∎ Sound knowledge about garments production and ability to give decisions.
∎ Ability to communicate with buyers' technicians independently in terms of buyer.
∎ Problem-solving skills.

∎ Negotiable
