Job Requirement (Must Have)
- Advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP practices (OOP, PHP 8, Composer, namespacing, traits, interfaces, etc)
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavasScript (vanilla JS, jQuery, ES6, React, etc).
- Experience with build tools like Gulp, Webpack, and package managers such as Composer and NPM.
- Solid understanding of WordPress Action/Hooks and REST API.
- Understanding software development life cycle (i.e. spec to completion)
Good to have
- Author of WordPress Plugins/Themes on WordPress.org
- Knowledge of any PHP Framework.
- Understand WordPress GraphQL.
- Experience using Figma or any other mockup tool.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Deliver secure, scalable, and easy-to-maintain WordPress solutions using engineering best practices and relevant coding standards.
- Write and maintain technical project documentation including inline code commenting, Git repo readme, and clear commit messages.
