∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ AT PTSL, we are seeking WordPress Engineers who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress Plugins and Themes. You will have the chance to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced developers, and gain valuable industry knowledge.
∎ You will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and easy-to-maintain WordPress solutions using engineering best practices and relevant coding standards.
∎ Write test cases for all the code you develop and maintain technical project documentation including inline code commenting, Git repo readme, and clear commit messages.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 3+ years experience with WordPress development.
∎ Advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP practices (OOP, PHP 8, Composer, namespacing, traits, interfaces, etc)
∎ Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavasScript (vanilla JS, jQuery, ES6, React, etc).
∎ Experienced in Gutenberg block development.
∎ Experience with build tools like Gulp, Webpack, and package managers such as Composer and NPM.
∎ Solid understanding of WordPress Action/Hooks and REST API.
∎ Understanding software development life cycle (i.e. spec to completion)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Author of WordPress Plugins/Themes on WordPress.org
∎ Knowledge of any PHP Framework.
∎ Understand WordPress GraphQL.
∎ Experience using Figma or any other mockup tool.
