Job Responsibilities:
∎ You must have vast knowledge in sweater Factory
∎ To coordinate with the workers and the factory's owner and to make necessary arrangement for discussion with them if necessary.
∎ To make necessary arrangement in order to eliminate any misunderstanding/difference of opinion between workers and the owner of the factory.
∎ To discuss with the workers regarding the wages and terms and conditions of job of the workers.
∎ To promote relation between laborers and owner of the factory.
∎ To help in order to make necessary arrangement for the treatment of workers along with other facilities.
∎ To look after the provision of amenities, such as canteen, shelters for rest, crèche, adequate latrine facilities, drinking water, and the like;
∎ Communicate/Coordinate sick workers' and company Medical Center for ensuring better treatment.
∎ Maintain registers (Maternity leave, Grievance handling, Orientation/Awareness session/Training records, and so).
∎ To make necessary arrangement preventing harassment and abuse.
∎ To maintain all documents relating to welfare.
∎ To regularly talk to workers about their problems.
∎ To hear all grievances & complain of the workers and act accordingly.
∎ To inform the authority of any problem which is beyond her jurisdiction.
∎ To ensure leave/rest facilities for the workers.
∎ To ensure timely payment of maternity benefits.
∎ To ensure pregnant workers not working in standing position & not engage in heavy work.
∎ To ensure pregnant workers periodical medical checkup by the company Doctor.
∎ To visit all floors during the production hour and talk to workers.
∎ To arrange AIDS awareness program.
∎ To report to the authority of any corporal punishments.
∎ To carry out regular checks in the day care Centre.
∎ Counsel the absentee workers as referred by HR section for reducing Absenteeism & turnover.
∎ Build awareness among all employees on Health, Hygiene and Safety issues.
∎ Listen workers and counseling them accordingly.
∎ Encourage workers' voices are heard and motivating supervisors' to solve their problems for better performance.
∎ Motivate workers on Labor Laws/rules & company policies for enabling working environment.
∎ Check complaint boxes and share those notes (if any) with the concerned management.
∎ Conduct different training/sessions/meeting based on Annual Training Plan and buyers' requirement.
∎ Arrange meeting for PC, Safety committee, Complaint Committee & Canteen committee as and where quired.
∎ Organize Training for workers' representatives on PC/SC/Compliant committee as r Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 &Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015.
∎ Establish good relationship with management staff and workers.
∎ Ensure different documentation related to Admin, HR. & Compliance.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the management.
