∎ Minimum Bachelor Degree
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Garments, Textile

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To establish contacts and hold consolations with a view to maintaining harmonious relations between the management of the factory and workers;
∎ To bring to the notice of the management of the factory the grievance of workers, individual as well as collective, with a view to securing their expeditious redress;
∎ To study and understand the point of view of the workers and to help the management and the workers to resolve their differences in a spirit of understanding and cooperation;
∎ To watch industrial relations with a view to using his influence in the event of a dispute arising between the management of the factory and workers and to help to bring about a settlement through mutual discussion and joint consolation;
∎ To deal with wages and employment matters by joint consolation with the management of the factory and the worker's representative body;
∎ To promote healthy labor-management practices;
∎ To keep co-ordination with the medical officer of the factory for better services and treatment of the workers;
∎ To encourage the formation of works committees and joint production committees, co-operative societies and welfare committees and to supervise their workings;
∎ To look after the provision of amentias, such as canteen, shelters for rest, crèche, adequate latrine facilities, drinking water, and the like;
∎ To help the management of the factory in regulating the grant of leave with wages and explain to the workers the provisions relating to leave with wages and leave privileges and to guide the workers in the matters of submission of application for grant to leave and for regulating authorized absence;
∎ To look after the welfare provisions, such as, housing, facilities, supply of food stuffs, establishment of cooperative stores and fair price shops, social and recreational facilities, sanitation and advice on personnel problems and education of children;
∎ To suggest measure which will serve to raise the working and living conditions of the workers and promote their general well-being;
∎ To advise the management of the factory on questions relating to the training of new starters, apprentices, to further education of workers and to encourage their attendance to Technical Institutes.
∎ Counsel with absentee and inefficient workers to increase their efficiency and productivity on a regular basis.
∎ Handle maternity related issues and prepare necessary documents accordingly.
∎ Arrange routine welfare meetings and Training, such as: Orientation, Grievance, OHS, etc.

∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Good in English speaking
