Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Health Watch (BHW) was established in 2006 as a multi-stakeholder civil society body dedicated to improve the health system in Bangladesh through evidence based critical review of policies and programmes, and recommend appropriate actions for change, especially to have a positive impact on social exclusion and inequity. Recently, BHW has launched a 37 months project with the goal to strengthen the healthcare system so that is more responsive to people`s needs and demands. It is expected that the project will create `a more responsive health care system that delivers better quality, more transparent and equitable health care for all being informed by people`s participation and voice`. We are looking for a Web Developer for Bangladesh Health Watch.
∎ Purpose: The Consultant will design, plan, edit, upload content. The consultant is expected to be responsible for maintaining the website to provide BHW`s wide range of audience with regular update on bulletins, reports, webinars, activities and other information of BHW. Besides BHW, the individual or firm also has to plan content for the development of the website.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Web Developing and Maintenance
∎ Visual Content Creation for Website
∎ Web Service Optimization
∎ Enhancing UI/UX of Existing Website
∎ Designing and maintaining Website Front-end and managing back-end
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong Work Ethics and Dedication
∎ Experience in JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5 & CSS3, jQuery, MySQL, PHP
∎ A Clear understanding of Raw PHP & Bootstrap.
∎ 02 to 03 years of hands-on experience.
∎ Strong ability to analyse, synthesize, think critically, solve problems and make decisions.
∎ Convey a high level of understanding of the importance of attention to detail. Finding the right information takes concentration.
∎ Take extra steps to ensure work is completed on time.
∎ Maintain a high level of output and quality regardless of the task load.
∎ Take lead to ensure overall success of project/ organization.
∎ Actively participate as a team leader to ensure unit cohesion.
