Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
ASIA COATINGS (PVT) Ltd. A fully owned subsidiary of JAT Holdings PLC which is a multinational wood coating and paint company headquartered in Thalawathugoda, Sri Lanka. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution wood coatings and products related to the retail and industrial sectors. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Birulia, Savar. Currently we are in need of Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
Job Description
Lead the team for effective management of store operation in receiving, inspection, storage, issuance & transfer of items as per company policy.
To follow-up overall inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels.
Perform cycle count and prepare all regular/periodical inventory reports.
Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Inform the purchase department well in advance about the items that reach the re- order level to order from suppliers by following guidelines.
Compile report of expenditure, perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Disposal of expired and damaged stock according to the current procedure and policy.
Promote inventory related awareness programs.
To interpret and implement the organizations policies related to all resources utilized in providing an efficient Store operation.
To plan for effective and efficient Store operation-RM/PM/FG
Monitoring inventory levels using software programs.
Enforcing facility security and employee safety measures to ensure that the warehouse adheres to the government’s safety standard.
Overseeing teams and staff, assigning staff schedules, organizing employee training, and developing teamwork initiatives
To ensure that administrative systems and procedures are suitable for efficient store operations.
To ensure that all the personnel under his control work and perform efficiently.
Make sure all the customer orders are delivered on time and 100% customer acknowledgment copies are there in place. For goods delivered in courier, share the update with respective sales personnel.
To ensure co-operation with other functions is achieved at all levels.
To ensure that a balance of supplies between continuous demand and intermittent supply is maintained.
Conduct and present OTD, OTT, MRM, PR, KPI and QC meetings to reevaluate the performance and execute the decision when applicable.
Work closely with corporate planner and coordinate with Sales & production to do the production planning for the month and monitor the same to verify the exact output as per the best requirement of the operation.
Work on establishing the CBM and Barcode system in the operation.
Monitor the Insurance claim when applicable.
Inspect, reprocess, and take steps for damaged goods before process to disposals.
Maintain the delivery at its optimal costs.
Fully follow up the WH SOP’s and satisfied it with process.
